The year of 2005 has been another exciting yesr!
It is hard to believe Alicia started college at IUK majoring in Elementary Education. Ashleigh
is a junior at Maconaquah High School. Austen switch schools from Pipe Creek to Maconaquah Elementary and is in 4th grade.
Arek is in the first grade at Pipe Creek.
Alicia performed again in the circus in Rolla-Bolla this summer. Austen decided that Circus
was just not this "thing" this year, I think it was the unitards he had to wear that did him in. Although Arek still can not
wait until he is old enough to perform. Next year he will be old enough. Austen started playing football, not flag football
but tackle football, they played other schools just like the high school does. He loved it! He was able to release his aggression
and energy. Marching band was next, Ashleigh marched with a snare, after playing Bass last year. She was the only Girl snare
player. The Band did very well at State Final becoming 3rd Place State Champs. Alicia is 19, Ashleigh 17, Austen 10 and Arek
is 7 years old, They are no longer babies….
This year Santa came early for Alicia and Ashleigh, because their gifts were big-ticket items
that just would not fit down the chimney. A silver Kia Spectra 4-door car is what Alicia’s grown up Christmas list stated.
Ashleigh received a Tama Drum set, dark red in color. Awesome Gifts! Of course, Austen and Arek are still waiting for Santa
to come down the chimney for their gifts full of surprises. I know they will just be the happiest kids in their neighborhood,
once Santa does arrive, I hope Santa has an extra big slay this year and strong reindeers!
All is well as we are looking forward to another year of happiness, joy, and peace on earth.
We are blessed with so many family and friends that are so dear to our lives. God Bless.
